UN Class Trips

Take a trip to the United Nations with GEM

Get more out of your trip to the United Nations with this all day United Nations experience. You and your students can learn about the history of the United Nations during the hour-long tour, have lunch, and explore a topic of your choosing in a briefing by UN Staffers and Officials.

When: Any week day

Who: Students grades 5-12

Where: United Nations Headquarters, New York

What:

  • Begin your UN experience with a one hour tour of the United Nations
  • Have Lunch at the United Nations
  • Take some time at the UN Post Office, Bookshop, and Gift Store
  • Be briefed in a UN Conference Room on a topic of your choice. Suggested topics include UN Overview, Millennium Development Goals, Population, Water, War Affected Children, Human Rights and much more.

Cost: $20 per student

Please Note: Due to ongoing construction at the United Nations, we must limit trips to 50 students or fewer for the 2011-12 School year.
