Teachers, Administrators, Future Teachers, NGOs-- join us for a series of
workshops and other related experiences on an important component of
21st Century Education: Teaching Peace and Human Rights in a Multicultural World.
Youth, Social Media, and Global Change
How can young people change the world? Is peace possible? Can democratic non-violent movements be successful today? What is the role of technology in peacemaking?
Program Outline for March 30th at Adelphi Univeristy
The following panels will be held in the Thomas Dixon Lovely Ballroom (2nd
floor) in the Ruth S. Harley University Center on Adelphi University’s Garden
City campus.

* Lunch is not included. Please bring money for lunch in UC dinning hall
Conference Details for Adelphi Participants:
Day 2: Includes all day international videoconference program at the United Nations. Lunch is not included. Bring ~$10 for lunch in UN staff dining room.
Participants are encouraged to attend both days of this conference, but may select to participate in only one of the two days.
